The goal of this book is to help players more with their emotional control and psychological strength. Since many players have very little or no control at all over their emotions, they may not completely grasp what barry is trying to explain. He writes more about the other parts of poker that will make an average player great. Barry Greenstein talks about pick the right game, keeping your ego out of the game, the value of picking your opponents and to be mentally sharp when playing. This book is more of a nonfiction entertainment poker book, instead of a reference book. Some players purchasing this book looking for lots of tournament strategy, will be disappointed. However it is a book that professional poker players or people who desire to become a professional player should read. Remember that poker is not always about the cards your playing, and instead being aware of the mental state of other players as well as your own mental state.
